Getting to "dubious" from KOS with the Dawn Tribe

If anyone could please help me with some suggestions or guidance,.. I accidentally killed some of the Dawn Tribe orcs earlier on, maybe 10 or so, so I am now KOS with the Dawn Tribe orcs in Oasis.

How can I get to Dubious? It seems killing orcs of the Sun Tribe does not raise Dawn Tribe faction - as there is no message after killing them,.. that states "Your faction standing with Dawn Tribe has gotten better!" There is however, the message stating your faction has gotten worse... this message is there for both the Sun Tribe and the Dawn Tribe.

I have even had an enchanter illusion me and I was still KOS.
I have not yet tried the ambassador's writ, but farming that seems difficult and rare.

Is this quest no long possible once you are KOS to the Dawn Tribe orcs?

If it is, then I guess I have 30 or more master headbands to sell. but I would really really like to finish this quest as it was enjoyable killing many Sun Tribe orcs,.. but only to find that I would never be able to turn in the headbands..

If I am missing something, Please someone correct me or help me with some information on how to get just "dubious" to the Dawn Tribe.

UPDATE!!---Note---- I was contacted by two GMs about this,.. it is atm not possible.. - perhaps a fix is on the way. And it was mentioned that factions were reset about a week and half ago. It was suggested that I hold on to my headbands.

Update

After another conversation with a GM regarding this KOS issue,.. it is concluded:

There is NO way to fix KOS faction with the Dawn Tribe.

So, once you've done it, you're stuck KOS with them forever and the quest becomes no longer possible... as it was mentioned clearly that this is not an issue to be fixed.

There's no way to fix it at the moment, but there will be ways (expensive, costly, time consuming ways) to fix this (and other) factions.

So I was half wrong and half right. No fix now, but will be in the future.
