Would it be possible to have a forum for questions relating to general equipment? The wiki can be very helpful for finding new items, but there are gaps and it's not exactly searchable based on stats and the like. One can only ask so much in /ooc or /gu. It would be nice to have a place where people could ask about upgrades, find out about new quests for items or zones to hunt in with named mobs, etc.

Just a thought!
 
maby a class forums insted would suite this, so you could ask what is kinda armor would be good for high end mid range and newbies of the given class
 
Yea... but fan sites for SoD have almost all been complete flops. Not enough people visit and post information. For instance, in the necro forum, there are maybe a dozen threads, and most of it is pure junk, like people saying hello n what-not. After visiting it a few times, I completely gave up bothering.

I think a class area with priest/mellee/spellcaster subsets leading to individual class areas would be a great addition to these boards. Most people visit this site for all their information, whether in forum or wiki forms. If/when the individual class forums grew big enough, it would probably branch out into someones fan site. Until then, doing a search for instance on "necro" will yield tons of results, due to people putting their class in their sigs. Class forums shouldnt be hard to setup, and would help reduce traffic on the general boards.
