Game Was working but now crashes

Yes i know to use the patcher everytime. Well ive had the game working for a few days and today i tried to run it in full screen. Well it gave me a eqgame.exe error when i hit to connect to the server. Now its even doing it in windower. I tried to repatch but its still doing the same thing.

Is there something I can try to do I dont want to have to uninstall and reinstall because it takes me literally 10 hours to update all the files. Any thing I can do?

It's pretty common for eqgame.exe to crash on connect, apparently it might be related to high latency.

Fixes:
Reboot PC and modem; retry.
Disable anti-virus software, software firewalls and any background file-sharing applications which may be using bandwidth; retry.

For some reason I have been getting the eqgame.exe error at least 1-3 times a day when I try and log in. I'm not sure the reason for the increase of this error, but ignoring it and trying to log in repeatedly seems to work just fine. I'm not sure anyone knows the reason for or a way to fix this random error.

Edit: Meya beat me to the punch. Just to add, I do not have firewall enabled or anti-virus running when I play, and the only other applications I have running simultaneously are IRC and occasionally an internet explorer window open, and I still encounter this error multiple times a day.
