Future of SoD

I have heard many rumors such as SoD is temporary and that no more coding will be done for SoD. Is this true and if so is there anything we can do to prevent that? Many of us players and especially the staff have devoted alot of time to this project and I for one would be extremely saddened in its loss. Please tell me this is all lies. ;(
 
Obviously the devs and admins will know more about it than me, but my understanding is that SOD continues to be a work in progress. There's a stickied poll in (I think) the Developer's Corner addressing exactly what is coming up--new zones, population of current zones, new styles, new epics, new quests, and so on.

I dunno whether any less work is being done now on SOD than before Dawntide came to the forefront, but there are still new things in the works.
