Hello, this is purifiedbyfire7 (my forum name and account name) and I am having an issue with successfully reaching the SoD world to play in.
I have an account that I hadnt logged on for almost a year and I am interested in logging back on and playing again. I bought all the expansions needed and installed them. I downloaded the sodpatcher and patched what was needed. I remembered the account name and password and I logged into the server. The character screen is where the problem shows up....
1) No windows or boxes or names show up - the only thing that shows is the character and background (as if clicking F10 (?) while in-game). The character falls from the sky onto what appears to be the side of a mountain.
2) The character that appears is not any character I am familiar with. It is a level 0 warrior that is named "Ioad" who is a male human that seems to be in The Eternal Well. I had a level 65 Iksar Beastlord (named "Slikor"), a level 50 something Wizard (named "Xuukov"), and a lower level necro who's name I think is "Zuukor." I am unable to access or view them, but they DO still appear on Fomelo.
3) No mouse appears for me to click anything and my Enter key and arrow keys affect nothing. Only my Exit key seems to do something.
I have looked on the Forums for a solution and have not found one that fits this problem. I did check my eqclient.ini (?) and made sure my UISkin=Default just in case. But to no avail. I am not very good at the technical stuff though.
Any help or suggestions would be great! I will continue to work on this and search for a solution.
