frustrating

I need the whole low down i got that one error with starting in the game. I did everything...what do i need to patch first i downloaded the trilogy pack...arrgh help me out :(

It could be a number of things:

1. Did you install Microsoft .Net Framework?
2. Did you make sure you selected all the appropriate expansions when you Patched from EQLive (All up to LDoN)??
 
Thats what im asking what are the expansions names please. And yes i have .net thats not the issue its when i first make my characture and load the game issue with no certain world thing.

EverQuest Classic, The Ruins of Kunark expansion and The Scars of Velious expansion

According to the wiki there are

1. The Ruins of Kunark (March 2000)
2. The Scars of Velious (December 2000)
3. The Shadows of Luclin (December 2001)
4. The Planes of Power (October 2002)
5. The Legacy of Ykesha (March 2003)
6. Lost Dungeons of Norrath (September 2003)
7. Gates of Discord (February 2004)
8. Omens of War (September 2004)
9. Dragons of Norrath (February 2005)
10. Depths of Darkhollow (September 2005)
11. Prophecy of Ro (February 2006)
 
Okay if you are loading into the world and you are getting in error with ponightmareb.s3d and whatnot, then you are missing files from the EQ-Live patch. You should select ALL expansions from EQClassic UP TO Lost Dungeons of Norrath, and do a COMPLETE FILE Check. After you do that, you will have to REPATCH SoD with the SoD Patcher, Click Advanced, Repatch All, Patch and Run.
 
The server is just having some hiccup issues, and you don't need Escape from Norrath expansion, you only need EQ Classic, Kunark, Velious, Luclin, Planes of Power, Legacy of Ykesha, Lost Dungeons of Norrath, and Optional Zones (if they still have that option in the patcher) ... I *think* that's all of them. You should see them in logical order from top down, you only need to check off the ones up to LDoN.
 
well this just sucks...i dont have the money to buy the expansions i was going by downloads..but i cant find Shadows or above for download :(
 
*smacks forehead* ... you have the game installed, just patch the expansions in, then run the SoD patcher, then you're good to go.
 
1. Run the EQ Patcher ... click Advanced ... select all the appropriate expansions ... click Complete file check. Let it run.

2. When it's done, install the SoD Patcher ... run the SoD Patcher ... click Advanced ... click Repatch All ... click Patch and Run.
