Great zone for 40-50. Alot of room to work, but i find if i decide to EXP here, Its very hard to find any mobs at all. The mobs are very balanced towards levels etc. Is their anyway to get a "Denser" ie: more mobs in FHC?
 
I agree. I found the zone to be very dead. Mostly just a pass through to other spots. The ice flows as long and far as they are were devoid of anything. Ran way out to the far island and found it lifeless as well.

It just looks kind of unfinished I guess. Just my opinion.
 
I think the mobs in frosthorn dont path around enough, the gnolls are always just standing there, as is Lenny and there are a few sparse wolves/cougars who will wander. Maybe more gnolls that actually path around the ice chunks and DFS island. Also what about snow dervishes and walruses? I havent seen dervishes used at all on SoD. Anyways - I agree, the zone could use some work/small quests.
 
*nod, if you are the correct level killing the gnolls is awesome, I would take out one by one and by the time I was done the beginning of the island chain had spawned, however I never ventured anywhere else in the zone aka it wasn't worth it.

Unfortunately I have this guideline that I never kill anything unless I'm already KoS to it, so killing the gnolls was not an option (since in the event that there was some use for them in a quest extra faction grinding to fix gnoll faction would suck).
 
God I killed so many of those gnolls the orcs in the zone next door had ally status, though I'm doubting there were any quests involving them for some reason, found that out when I went to go buy something off ramgan lol. They were wailing on the orcs so I figured well I should be safe since they're handing the orcs their asses, dropped invis and they're all chummy lol.
