First of i want to know if i have to do this for every pug, second i understand the need for this but there has to be a better way to do this, i pug 2times a day minimum and if im going to have to post before every pug im never going to get time to do the named we want to do, also do i need to repeat all the loot rules in RS to every member that replaces someone on a pug?

My loots rules for my pug on halls of misery for 2day are as follows:

1 relic claimed
all cash drops are claimed by me,
every other item will be rolled on,
i have stated these rules in RS and everyone agrees to them,

if i have missed anything let me know, also please answer the questions above so i dont get banned for something that is in my opinion is a waste of time / resorces.

i understand that there has been problems with loots and such getting debated but it should not have to come to this extent to be fixxed, my last question is also i am a guild leader and have the loot rules posted on my forums, do i still need to post b4 every guild raid on loot rights and what we are doing cos if so ur gonna have alot more problems then loots as everyone will know what guilds are hitting what zones and people will be sniping people all the time.

Who is the relic claimed for?

When you say "every other item will be rolled on", is that both droppable and no drop?

The whole "said in rs and everyone agrees to them" is now obsolete. By posting the loot rules here before you start killing things, you've made them available to everyone in the raid. You no longer have to go through any of that "does everyone agree" screenshot mess.

When someone new joins a pickup raid in progress, the rules should already be posted. They can go read the rules, and it's no longer your responsibility to stop the raid and explain the rules.

This only applies to pickup raids. For guild raid loot disputes, the formal GM Team policy is "Tell them to figure it out on their own. We don't meddle in guild raid loot distribution."

Copy / Paste works great if your PuG loot rules are usually the same. See the second example I posted in the "sample" thread:

PoNightmare raid:

All coin and droppable items are claimed by Aradyn.

The item "Shadow Step" is claimed by Aradyn.

All other [NO DROP] items (including relic spells and artifact components) will be randomed off to the class that can use them, as is default.

That's short and easy, and before, you'd have to go out of your way to do that in /rs and get screenshots with everyone seeing it, etc... This should actually be faster and easier, especially since if you always claim coin/droppables and usually only 0/1 other item, you can pretty much copy/paste into a new thread.

This is aradyn. I was the first to test this. First round was rough because I had no idea I was the crash test dummy. I did find a way to avoid having to copy/paste every day and it also serves to preserve my targets.

I created a general outline that covers my raids, put a second post below it with zones I frequent and what I would normally claim but will change as my chars get the items they need. The third post I created merely as a place saver so prior to raids I can go in and say 9/14 or whatever date it is raiding, this exception or no exceptions and hit edit... This does 2 things. I won't need to update my post since this will move it to the top, and I don't have to make it public what "target" was hit since I do have the specific target listed above and it is declared that any time I am PuGing that target X items are claimed...

I don't know if this violates the policy, but it makes me feel better about trolls looking through my threads to get timers on BYW, Dis, or halial... Hoping this satisfies the requirement though.

*Edit* I did however go back and make a much more detailed description of all possible situations I can think of, so that there will be no question, as most of those situations are stuff I have encountered in the past. I have no objections to anyone copying/pasting my stuff and then editing it to suit their raid style.

An option is to use the "quote" button and quote those posts as your "for this raid, the rules are XXXX" post.

That seems like a really really awful inconvenience to your raid member just so you can try to hide what you killed when, but since it would cover the loot rules, it is technically okay (assuming that godawful wall of text I wouldn't agree to if I were on your raid actually is loot rules)

It's only because I run into those issues more often than someone saying they didnt know I was claiming an item... Especially on BYW the perma blind happens to someone 3/4 of the time.
