I learned this from someone else posting it in a thread, so for the benefit of all the new faces popping up on the forum, and for the benefit of the veterans reading their pleas for help ("alrite now which one is this Guest???
") i'll retype it out.
(disclaimer: this is how i do it.)
Assuming you have the WR site in your favorites (if you don't, uh, like, what's wrong with you? ), make a second "favorite" and call it WR Forum or whatever. Have it link directly to the Winter's Roar Forum Index page. Now when you log in, choose to have it auto-login everytime. SO, next time you want to check the forum, click your favorite (i have my imporant ones across the top of my browser window as buttons) for WR forums. You should still be logged in, so you won't look like a newb when you post, and we won't get confused trying to figure out who Guest is, and in the process forget about your problem completely. Everybody wins.
It's not perfect, as sometimes it still drops my login, but normally only if i do some switching back and forth between the Forum and the WR page... or delete da cookies. Works for me, should work for you too. Enjoy.
