Forage training bugged?

Hi everybody,

Tonight I dinged 3 on my Ranger and went to train Forage but I couldn't find it on the Surefall Ranger trainers. It hasn't appeared magically on my skills list.

Bug? Or me not looking at the right place?

If I may hop in with a forage question too. My Iksar Necro can forage, but it's never once skilled up. I was told that some classes can forage, and some races can forage, but that the skill will only go up if you are a race AND class that can forage. Is this correct?
 
Iksar get innate 50 forage, just like DE and WE get innate hide. If their class gets the skill, it can skill-up. If not, tough noogies.

Petition about getting your forage set and a GM will get to it in time.
 
Ah thank you. It is at 50, was just making sure that not skilling up any more isn't a bug. Good luck with your problem Oualawouzou.
 
I've been foraged bugged ever since it got put in game. I've buglist'd it and petitioned multiple times about the problem and never have received a response. I've pretty much given up on it. Hope you have better luck than I did.
 
Well, I haven't yet received a response to my petitions on this matter (curse those 30 minutes play sessions!), but I've run into yet another problem...

Now that I'm a level 4 Ranger, I should get kick. And sure enough, there it is on my trainer's list. But when I select the skill, it is greyed out... I can't click on "train", though I have 18 training sessions left.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there I need to do that I missed to enable training? Or will I run into that kind of bug every time I get a new skill?

When you submitted the petition the first time, it should have given you some text that you enter about understanding the petitioning rules. Then you have to enter the petition again. If you didn't do that, your petition didn't go into the queue. Once I petitioned, I actually had a response in less than an hour.
 
Yes, I got the message and typed the requested "I understand that blablabla..." thingy. I filed a petition twice (once I was 2nd in queue, the other time I was 4th) but I play relatively late (past 11pm EST) and in short burst (20-30 minutes), due to a baby who likes to wake up a half-dozen times before finally going to sleep for the night. As such, so far, I haven't been able to stay in-game until I got a response, but I'll keep trying (I'm not blaming the GMs here, it's my fault if I can't wait a little).

But that'd be for forage... Since kick is in the trainer's list and I'm of a sufficient level, I should be able to train it just fine on my own... Unless learning new skills is also bugged?
