Does anyone have the code to this so that maybe if anyone is interested they could update it? Would be cool to have it show second augs and maybe even somehow tome xp. I know there could be a lot of additions, but I am not sure anyone wants/knows how to do it.

If anyone is interested, maybe you can post here and then someone else could try to obtain the code (if at all possible).

Just kind of throwing this idea out there to any players who may be interested.
 
I'd be willing to work on it if my skill set worked out for it. They might need permission from like Aeran/Foma or something though.
 
Ye, I'd be willing to take a look at it too. I just wrote a status up/down monitor for them and am talking to at least part of the staff about aesthetics and how they would like it displayed. Wouldn't mind trying to tackle fomelo or something like that afterwards, but I imagine it's a LOT more work than what I did.
 
Fomelo is missing thaz augs as well. There has been a lot of changes in game since fomelo was last updated which I believe was pre-thaz and some of the new stuff might be easy fixes. It would be interesting to see if anything could be done with fomelo seeing as foma and aeran are MIA. I guess this thread is a good place to start.
 
I would guess between Calaran and Eldo they could probably get it figured out.. only question is if they'll be allowed the code since it was Foma / Aeran's project.
 
Whoever takes the project...pleeeease add guild tags to profiles in Fomelo. :) Since there's no guild member management tool in game to verify current membership, this would pretty much be awesome.
 
IIT I beg Wiz for access to Fomelo because I'm horribly horribly bored at the moment, and that's when I do my best work.

In all seriousness, I don't know what issues would stem from needing permission from now-absent parties, allowing non-staff-members access to an application that obviously has direct read access into the SoD database, etc... I'm sure there are some trust issues.... especially hard to trust Kurt Rambis. He had heart, he just wasn't meant to play ball.

I gotta change that avatar some day though... it's really been around since I signed up for these forums like... however long ago it was? well over a year ago. I don't want people to think that's really how I look, heh.

I agree with no music, but an image could be cool. Magelo did that, and I thought it was pretty cool to be able to customize it. The music option however, is not too good of a thing imo.

There's been talk of this sort of browsing in the past, and I think they rejected anything but specific character searches due to the e-peen madness that would ensue.
 
Yeah, I think it's pretty clear they don't want it to become a ranking system. I imagine adding guild-tag to the user profile would be doable and I can't really think why it wouldn't be allowed. And personally, I'd like to be able to search for a guild and list all members in it with links to their profiles... but again, that could be used perhaps for bragging. It would just be nice to know that you have a character in your guild who has not logged on since you joined... instead of discovering when one day they just randomly start talking on guild line.... this is, I think, what my guild experienced recently when I came back... none of the current members even know I was a member of the guild, heh.
