Flowing Thought and the Mana Regen Cap

Is it possible to get a comprehensive Mana Regen list with all of the sub categories defined as to their cap status.

And, before someone goes purposefully idiot, I do not mean a list of specific items, and I am aware of several previous discussions, including http://forum.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php?topic=8425.0 in the ToK. Most of these posts are filled with speculation, hints that things have changed, obsolete information, and contradictory statements.

Now, as I understand it...

At least one post referenced a total cap of all mana regen at 30, hinting that it is a single cap exceeded only by the spell Lich, which exceeds the cap as the sole exception.

Or, as most think...

Worn FT items have a cap of 20.
Is Seeking Mind part of this cap? Part of the Spell Cap? Part of an unknown third cap? Uncontained by any cap?
Is Mental Clarity AA part of this cap? Part of the Spell Cap? Part of an unknown third cap? Uncontained by any cap?

Spell FT has a cap of 30.
This includes Enchanter, Druid, and Beastlord Buffs, as well as non Relic Bard Songs.
The Relic Bard Song is not encumbered by this cap.
Does the Lich line belong to this cap, with the abiltiy to exceed it on it's own, but does not benefit from other spells? The Lich line stacks with WON and Spiritual Bliss, does it gain benefit of the additional mana regen provided by those spells? Does the Lich line only benefit from these spells prior to reaching the cap? Is the Lich line completely unencumbered by this cap?
Is the Lich line the only spell of this category, or do other self only buffs of other classes share this abiltiy. The Necro's own Spellskin rune has 3 mana regen... where does it fit in? Wizard Familiars? Do clerics have a self only buff with mana regen... I do not recall...

* are previous versions of Lich under the spell cap, or is the whole line exempt? IE, is it just a special attribute of the Spell Lich? How about the Flamecaster Scroll effect?

bard mana regen will go over the cap by 5

jb, won, sb, all self buffs fall under this. Potion mana regen as well

Any worn item that gives the player mana regen counts towards the cap of 20 worn mana regen.

Spell mana regen caps at 30, but some things go over. The bard mana regen provides at most 5 mana regen over the cap. I also think the druid AA "Spirit of the Earth Mother" goes over the cap, I think by 6, but I am not 100% sure. Lich also goes over cap, but I do not know how far over it goes.

If other people can post what other spells go over the cap, please do.

I did not think lich stacked with enchanter line of mana regen. Any idea how far over the cap lich can go?
 
Lich does not stack with the enchanter mana regen line and as far as I know it is mana regen on its own, IE it ignores ALL caps. I heard various numbers about the actual mana regen provided so I won't go into it.
 
Spellskin should count for the spell cap. Like Seferon says it's quickly reached, and it will often have value for a necro when it wont have any for a wizard.
Mental clarity and elemental mage forms AND 5ft from relic song & whole necro lich which is a part of the ability of a necro will not count for the cap hence ignore it, while other spells (including druid mask and cleric HPB, living fire; flame seer, spellskin, potions , BST DRU ENC groups buffs) will count for cap.
Curious about the canopic jar though, although I suppose it counts for spell cap too as it's a buff.
EDIT : even more curious for the FT food or drinlk :p

Lich spell doesn't stack with JB anyway so it doesn't matter how the internal ticks go :p
 
if you have multiple items with aura of balance will they stack together or do you only get the benefit of one aura of balance item for a flat ft 2 and regen 2 ?

AFAIK (From a Wiz post) all AA abilities that restore mana do not count towards the cap (Paragon, Earthmother, Elemental forums)

Vortex of Death also does not count towards the cap.


My question is, is there a cap on 'overcap' FT?
 
From my experience, mana-over-time-taps dont cout vs any cap. (Wandering Mind clicky anyone?)
