Flashing Graphics Issue

Just got back after a few months and now when I try to play the graphics tend to flash in and out, including my UI, which gets a pink and blue background behind text.

I'm playing with a rather old system, using an Nvidia MX 440 card. I went to Nvidia and got the driver listed there in case that was my problem, restarted and played again. I still get the problem, which usually takes place a little after I zone.

Any ideas on a fix?

Edit: Alt + Enter can sometimes clear up the problem but length of fix is iffy. Also, latency bar, map and spell effects remain flashing.

Your graphics card is probably dying

nemx may be right. If you start to see textures going all rainbow, and random artifacts start to appear on screen, your card may be dieing or overheating.

Well I tried switching out of 1280x1024 windowed and went to 1024x768 full screen and I think that solved the problem. I guess I just can't handle EQ at that res for some reason lol. Damn this ancient computer.
