After some dangerous exploration this week, I got lucky and won a flamesong from a recent drop.
I already had a firesong, and am very happy to have finally completed the set.
Suffice to say I've been wanting to get this weapon for a long while, ever since my pubescent leveling days when I was shown one in Athica by an Epic Bard (I say that in caps). His looked like a fiery mace, really impressing me back when I was wearing copper plate and scrounging up cat guts and rotting plague in spades.
However, when equipping I noticed mine was different from the old bards'.
My stats and icon were the same as his (burning torch icon, 1h blunt, same bonuses) but the weapon graphic looks like a piercing spear, and doesn't have any flame effect.
I really enjoy the benefits of the weapon, and I know you developers have a lot of more important things on your plane. I was just wondering if it might be possible to look at this weapon again, if its possible to restore it to the impressive weapon of old. Blunting enemies with a spear seems a bit silly
Thanks again,
