Hello Everyone. I recently started re-playing WR with my brother but i notice a few problems and was wondering if anyone could post some advice.
First. When I fully patched to eqlive, installed the hotfix file, and installed the patcher i had some trouble. I would run the patcher perfectly, get the files, but they would all be in some WRFiles folder in my eqdirectory, and clicking run off of the patcher didn't autostart EQ. My personal fix was to copy/paste the files from the WRfiles folder directly into the EQ directory. That fixed that part.
Secondly. Zoning will allmost allays crash us out of the game. We hit a zone wall and wait and wait and wait. We either have to Cntrl. Alt. Delete. our way out or sometimes it brings us back to server select if we wait long enough. Now, i browsed the boards for a solution and asked ingame and I did get a few responses that were all different, so I am asking here for a definative fix please.
Lastly. I cant zone into Paineel. (sorry i dont know the WR name for it) and I hear that repatchng to live with Legacy of Ykeshka(sp?) will fix this, but i am wondering if I have to do this as that is a lot of extra memory space to fill for one zone that I only want to get to the warrens with.
