Was hoping he could be looked at in regards to the mobs on 3rd floor below him. The aggro through the holes in the floor makes this fight particularly more difficult than it has to be.

I understand the banish, i understand the adds. and i totally understand his fight in general. but the mobs below him, in the room with the Vha Rehn quest guy have bad aggro, and often cause problems for 1w raids.
 
If everyone has levitate and runs straight into the room and stays away from the hole in the ground you will never agro the adds.

Your request is basically saying "My raid cant stay away from mobs, please remove them."
 
actually not the case man. We dmf'd, and to the best of my knowledge we just aggro from being near that hole. which seems a bit overboard for the level of tier 1w is 0.o
 
Is there a chance things have been changed since you last killed 1w anyways cinn? those mobs got moved around a bit down below iirc.
 
We (Venerate 3.9.1) killed him a week or so ago.
We wiped on the first attempt because someone didn't pay enough attention and floated down into the hole a tiny bit.
What Cinn said is 100% correct, second attempt went fine. Avoid the hole, if your people can't avoid the hole, start kicking guildies until they can ^_^
 
Honestly Lev/DmF seem to be the cause of the aggro not the fix. You need it to get over the hole, but otherwise the bobing of toons throw the floor seem to be the cause of the aggro.

Try lev/DMF into the room and then click it off and see how things go (along with staying away from the holes)
 
dually noted. Will try that next time. I still vote for an aggro radius drop on the little spermy looking things. or something.
