First Ruin's item unbinding/vendor prices seem to me to be far less then they should be.
I feel that this is causing the bind on equip economy "fix" to be completely obsolete for this zone.
Players are able to buy other players. They use the item until they no longer feel the need to continue to use it. They unbind it for 1k, then resell it for a MINIMAL loss.
Furthermore, because the items are never taken off the market, I have seen a severe over flooding of FR loot and thus the decline of item prices from this zone.
One example is blazing fire beads. These used to be available for sell seldomly, and generally went for 16-17k. In the past week I have seen 3 - 4 sets of these beads being sold by different people, and for an average asking price of 12k.
Another example is the rune-scorched axe, which used to sell for around 6-7k. I have seen many of these items being sold by multiple people for 3-4k.
Not only do I feel that the unbind/vendor prices for this zone are failing achieving the desired effect, but when coupled with the analysis of this quote: It appears that this is ALSO hurting trade skillers. Why would anyone spend good money on shadow silk or other high end crafted items when they can purchase and resell FR items for minimal losses?
I feel this is even more true for emberflow items, and will only get worse as more and more of these hit the market.

Part of the problem with this is the lack of reasonable vendor pricing for many high end items, effectively giving crafted armor a major disadvantage compared to other armor, which can be unbound for a song and resold very cheaply. The advantage, however, is that crafted items do currently sell for a LOT compared to what they used to: thus any player buying can feel confident that they'll get a return on their purchase (as compared to other gear whose vendor pricing is still up in the air).
There are many aspects of this game that have received attention lately, but this projects has NOT been on the back burner.
P.S. I will *not* announce when certain zones are finished or which ones are in planning. They will only go in as we finish them. I will only say be careful what you auction items for in the near future - you might be giving away free money. =)
