First person graphic bug

Been playing some again lately but noticed a weird bug when polygons pass over my view (like the area where your camera view is up close) on my new computer. Its especially bad while swinging weapons but happens any time something goes into my camera view but actually does happen in third if something crosses my viewing lens so to speak. Screen basically fills with distorted shards of polygons. Got a dual core intel if it has anything to do with dual core bugs or whatever and a new 8 series nvidia card. No ideas.

I also have this problem. There has been no response to my post mentioning it on 4/12. :/

I get this problem intermittently too, It usually seems to happen when I am 2boxing, and one of my characters PLs out and I have to reload. The character will load back into the game and I'll be playing in the disco matrix, everything is a multicolored glowing mesh. Usually all my inventory graphics will be replaced with static as well, which is incredibly annoying when you need to click something. Camping and relogging usually does not fix for me, I have to restart the computer completely if the error is bad enough that I can't play through it.

I guess no one knows a solution. Ive had the disco bug before but this is just a glitch where polygons briefly fill the screen when a graphical object passes over my viewbox (ie when I swing my weapon causing my arms to pass quickly pass in front of my view). I guess if it cant be fixed I wont be playing. I know there are lots of weird problems with the new 8k series nvidia cards. Oh well.

try setting SoD to only use one cpu ..I'm not sure how it is done i would just goggle for it but my friend had a similar problem on his duel core and after the fix it cleared right up ..i hope this helps (wish i could be more tech help but i have had no experience with duel core motherboards myself)

Anyone know if dual core processor might cause this graphical glitchy bug. Doesnt seem like it would be the problem to me but who knows. What are the normal symptoms of dual core problem and how the heck am I supposed to specify a single core to run a game or whatever?

I wonder if this is the same: I play the game for several hours on a new comp (not mine, and I'm not techie enough to tell you all the details), and after going to a certain zone, my character is stuck in "human pretzel" form, and can move around the map VERY fast, and has a hard time navigating because the camera jumps all over the place (regardless of the view mode). I'm curious to see further feedback on this thread.
