Fedraz, Braclet of Chilling Winds vs. Intelligent Power Core

First lets start with the items themselves:

vs.

As you can see, both very similar items, with the Power Core coming out in the lead with MUCH better resists. For those that don't know however, the Power Core comes from a raid mob in the Rust, an area for exp groups with a few raid targets, while Fedraz comes from Farguziar in Inner Prison, a zone that requires keys and progression through other zones/other parts of the zone. Farguziar also requires pulling at the very least 3 mobs, two of which are basically copies of Master of the Everchill, then you need a raid force with at least one knight class and one enchanter (if you're skilled and overgeared for it, I would recommend a Paladin and at least 2 enchanters).

Basically, Fedraz takes way more effort to get (hell getting into Inner Prison itself takes more effort imo) than getting the Power Core. I feel the stats -mana and resists most of all- need toned down dramatically, as the Power Core is overpowered if you factor in Risk vs. Reward and effort/time spent.

edit: have to click on the links i guess, for some reason the pictures won't show up for me

I don't think the trash in front of the mob or ease of getting to it really determines the loot table, case and point: Earth Terror.

Anyhow, yeah, this particular fight (in it's current state) was easier than Farg and Thinkmeats said he was gonna nerf the bracer or make the fight more on par with the loot, I can't recall which.

Also, it's interesting that you would comment on loots from a fight that you have never done.... :psyduck:

We can always ask for ET loot to be nerfed. If you wanna get into that :p
That's essentially half of his argument so I'll leave that to him ;)

As I told the people who actually got the item, that was designed back when I thought Rust would wind up harder than IP. I missed it when I lowered the other stuff. Please, for the sake of my sanity, don't post threads about everything other guilds get before the bugs are even worked out of the raids they won them on. At the very least, I'd like for you to have done the fight you're criticising before posting a thread.

edit: Also you're amazingly wrong about how hard it is to get to the mob that drops the power core. Just ask the mountain of Steel corpses :haw:

Staying on the core of the topic, the two items, they look pretty different ... the core has more classes available, 3 different slots and is way more caster oriented (low AC and way more mana than HP). Maybe the core is just better, and apparently it will get nerfed, but why compare what shouldn't be compared ? or complete the arguement with other gloves and capes maybe.

Wrist slots are the weakest of all slots; any multislot item which can be put in the wrist slot pretty much has to be given wrist stats.
