fearstone keep is ridiculous

hi , i have been trying my best at fearstone but its impossible, especially if your solo. i have a 20 ranger elf and i have trouble beating greens and light blues beat the crap out of me. by the time your powerful enough to beat them they wont give you xp so theres really no point. having dual wield and double attack does no good when your standing there frozen all the time. I rarely see anyone there and those who do go there dont seem to want to group. its also right next to (what i consider) a newbie zone at fay, so i know a lot of people have been experiencing the same as me.

seems the only ones who can solo there are casters. i havent even sniffed going into the castle yet and as i stated before , by the time i will be able to i wont get xp anyway. its very frustrating.

not jumping on your back or anything but you may want to check your equipment or something. i was soloing there (with the necessary warrior downtime) in the low teens. true i kept near the zone area but it is doable.

or another option would be to form a group before getting there with the intention of going there.

The blackguards are difficult for a reason. They're not ideal solo mobs.

Hi there, I went to fearstone as an enchanter, so Im not sure that I can totaly feal your pain, as I had Lull and mez and so on. However, even with all of that I can tell you that I had troubles there. First of all, casters on WR are awsome compared to on live, but I mean that in a bad way, they are super duper smart it seems and, especially in fearstone, they like to fear me, witch doesn't make me run, it makes me stand still and get beat for 18 seconds. They can also mez and DoT out the ying yang in there. Ohh well...

Here is my sugestion, got to Shadowed Islo(unrest) and have some fun. Its the Kerra Isle of EQlive so its easy to get to and there is a nice little safe spot over by the gazzebo that you coud do well at. Lots of times there are nice people there to willing to group, give it a shot. Ohh yea, and some nice armor drops there too and quest stuff.

Caster mobs on WR, as opposed to on Live, are smart about their spells, but statistically much weaker than their melee counterparts.
