Fearful Eyepatch Drop Rate / Drop Broken?

Hi there. Have been camping the Fearful Eyepatch for more than 3, less than 5 days now. Believe the drop rate to be abysmally small (or possibly broken).

Zone: Blackburrow
NPC: Garax, the Brawler (placeholder: 'a gnoll')
Item: Fearful Eyepatch

Other Items Dropped:
Tempered Brass Knuckles
Gnollish Headwraps

I have seen maybe 12-ish knuckles, about the same number of headwraps, but not one eyepatch in that many kills. This seems like a very low drop rate on this sort of item. (I would have given up long ago, but it's a perfect one-spawn camp to help concentrate on homework! ;) ).

I would have assumed it no longer dropped at all, had someone not mentioned they let one rot a few days before I started camping (ARG!!). Just asking someone to please look to ensure it is dropping correctly.

That kind of stuff is just bad luck, I haven't had anything drop but Alchemist's Pouch from Alchemist in DN in about 10 kills, and I haven't had anything but Rathide Shoulderpads drop from the Wizard in as many kills.

croaked Garax a few more times since post, bringing my total Garax kills up to ~30.

maybe it is just bad luck, but unless the eyepatch was intended to be super-ridiculously rare, maybe something is off.

I've pretty much given up at this point, but hopefully this thread might prove some value to someone else. at some point. who knows? jew_nose_it ; )

If you haven't got it to drop yet and still want one, I have a couple on alts I don't need. Just reply with a character name and I'll send you one.
 
Hey cornelweezy. I really appreciate the offer, but this is for one of my alts I've been playing around with as well. No big deal (and it WAS a great "homework camp" = ) ) in the grand scheme of things. Bringing it up in case it might be broken (I've seen drop tables break before) and/or as a suggestion.

Super cool of you though = ) May you be weighed down by many plats ;)
 
Not sure if completely relevant, but my druid had one drop maybe a week or so ago.
Probably less, but I'll go with a week (I suck with dates).
