Does faralak normally drop ancients? He dropped one last night and we've never seen one off of anything else in SE. Not a problem, just seemed odd.

I think a couple of months ago a few mobs had ancients added to their loot tables. If he was one of the mobs, I am not sure.

Cmalath 3 bosses now have a chance to drop ancient spells. The summoner himself has a very good chance to drop an ancient spell. Earthshaker in rust now has a chance to drop ancient spells.

this is nothing major, but a small group of 'us' were in the tunnels of lasanth and a slime/ooze (something to that effect) dropped a sealed map...is that normal?

When we still did SE (this is like more then a year ago) The first 2 nameds in SE also dropped ancients. (they used to drop relics then turned to ancients)

it's probably a change to the earlier mobs then, i know grand librarian still drops relics but i guess he is a bit harder than the other stuff in the zone

Faralak has always dropped Ancients since he use to be a Yellow con mob. When he was changed to a Red con, he was never changed to drop Relics, and may even be intended to be that way.

I will say, having just recently downed this mob again, that the new version of Faralak is far more worthy of a relic chance than any of the Frozens.
