Fame Points ?

Ok ok ok... here is a question that has haunted me since I started SoD and I havent been able to find an answer. I am really interested in gaining fame points but havent seen any events or other ways of gaining them. Am I missing the posts as to where and when the events are? Or are they no longer done? ( I know its lame but im curious) If there are any events, are there any for lower level guys? (my oldest being a lvl 19 Ceric)  :toot:  :dance:  :toot:
 
Fame points are best thought of as a rare bonus and not something you should strive to attain. They're given out during events to winners or sometimes just participants, but when people come strictly for da fame pointz it really is a kick in the balls to the Event Master.

Well, I can offer my experience after being on SOD for over a year now. Fame points are not something you can reasonably count on earning so-to-say. On occasion, there is a seemingly spur-of-the-moment event that will give fame to maybe the top 1-3 people. However, these events are quite rare, and I tend to play [a lot] more than I should.

If you are looking for a particular fame item, some similar items are attainable in-game too.
