Fall speed

I was running around in miel B and fell down a few times notecing i was falling very slowly, and as i approached ancient muchroom trap floor i was trying to jump over it, but this new thing stoped me from doing so and i started to fall slowly in to it again, couldent jump over it. in on, so i had to zone out to miel a and run around to get to the "dead" area.

was the same on all of my chars.

should it be this way?

Had this same situation a while back. Started using EQPlayNice and it fixed the issue of falling slowly. Download the file from the main site here.
