Faction Spells & Wrist Procs

The ENC spells Alliance, Benevolence, and Collaboration are categorized as Utility Beneficial spells, yet wrist procs seem to recognize them as Detrimental. This can become highly problematic. The only time a person would cast these spells is to improve their relations with a given NPC (oftentimes a very low-end one, too, such as a banker or citizen), yet the irony is that an unwanted wrist proc can either aggro the NPC in question or, in the worst case with a strong proc, instantly kill them. Supposing the NPC survives whatever proc hits it, it will fly toward the player, at which point an animation pet will feel the urge to defend its master and potentially kill the NPC before the player has time to react. Needless to say, this only serves to lower the player's faction even further, sometimes to the point of becoming KoS.

I am unaware as to whether this is a problem with the BRD song Cinda's Charismatic Carillon, but do chime in, bards, if you have come across this problem.

I suggest that these spells be altered so that they do not have a chance to activate wrist procs. It is easy to say, "Then just unequip your wrists before casting it, duh!" but it only has to happen one time to decimate the faction standing of a new or unsuspecting enchanter. Furthermore, as wrist procs on these low-cost spells are not particularly common (excepting the three ENC 100% proc rate wrists), the player may use the faction spells a dozen or more times before realizing this can happen.

I have noticed this with the pacify line too. Was hilarious I pacified a fire spirit at the ToLL camp and my wrist summons an elemental to attack it then causing me to pull 2.

I just take my wrist off when pacifying now lol.
