Explanation of the lag issues

Could we get some type of official explanation of what is happening on the server lately. I mean.. we were told that with the implementation of the second box that lag Would be zero. The post from the front page by Melwin is starting to remind me of the George W Bush "Mission Accomplished" speech on the deck of the Aircraft Carrier off the coast of Iraq :lol:

Thank you everyone for has signed up for donation subscriptions. We've finally got enough for a second box (which is significantly BETTER than our other, older one!), and that means even on the busiest nights we're most likely going to have no lag whatsoever!

Not much else to say, thanks to those of you who donate and go bother your friends to donate so when one of the donators drop off we won't be shit out of luck. :D

UPDATE: The new box is now up and running, and we're using under 10% of our combined CPU power with 250 players online. Rock on!

I definately love the server and know the work and effort that goes into something of this complexity at times takes patience. I just want to know mainly if there was something that we could do as players to assist, and what Exactly is the reason for the problems.. so that people can quit asking.

Before the new box, we had processor and RAM issues that were causing lag. Then new issues popped up.

GWB comparison makes me :sadf:
 
Sorry Melwin. Before it gets out of control here in this post. I was actually kidding about the GWB thing ;)

Thanks for the reply. I will wait patiently as usual. Thanks for doing a great job here on the boards and for all us WR players.
