Expansions

Hello, I just recently heard about this shard and I am dying to play. However, I haven't played EQ since luclin. Is there anyway to bypass spending a $100 to get up to date on all of the expansions?

Will I be able to play it on this shard if I get it off steam? Sorry, I looked on amazon and thought it said it was $100ish for all of the expansions.

Note that the download on steam is normally $20. It appears the $2.50 sale has ended. Here is a link to EQ on Steam.

Still way less than $100.
