everything works until eqw...mss32.dll

ok so when i get through the patch and everything and eqw pops up, i try to run EQ and i get a message saying "this application failed to start because mss32.dll was not found." what does this mean and how do i fix it???????? ;(

I had this exact problem with a different game before. I'm sure somebody else can come up with a better fix for this, but you can download just about any .dll file. Just google "download mss32.dll" and there are lots of sites with big librarys of those. The bad thing is, once you get that file put in your system folder, you'll probably find that there are files other than that one missing. It's worth a shot, I suppose, to try while waiting for a better answer from someone. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
