If most people here who play would donate 1 or 2 dollars, that would probably be enough for a second box? No? Then donate 3!
Was just wondering if this would even work, or is everyone too cheap to donate a whole dollar? :)

Paypal charges tend to eat very small donation amounts. It's probably better to donate at least $10.

Although that would be great to have everyone donate a couple dollars its not as simple as buying a new box and thats it, there is overhead...an upkeep. Espeshilly once you have two boxes its double the upkeep of one box...

If everyone became a Silver donator on just one of their accounts then SoD would be made in the shade. $5 is hardly any money, but if there were a couple hundred people donating $5 a month... forget about it. ;)

Being a silver donator is $10 less then live subscription and SoD is obviously better then live many times over. So dont be a chump.. Donate today! :D

Also keep in mind you do not need a credit card to donate through paypal, all you need is a chequing account. Plus I think Wiz is aranging to accept Money orders and Personal Cheques.

read elsewhere I have detailed the in game benefit of being at least a silver ($5) donator.
 
Yeah, we really need subscriptions more than loose donations, because otherwise we'd have to do donation drives like every two weeks. :(

In terms of the popularity of a service, yes they do.
 
Dont get me wrong, I prefer Paypal myself. I'm just tired of people using google search as an end-all-be-all proof. :)
