Hey everyone, i've been searching all day for the so called "titanium pack" and they dont seem to be stocked, no less the expansion packs themselves too. I live in Phoenix,AZ, and the nearest stocked area seems to be in tucson which is 100miles away :dumb:. I still have my trillogy though.Any ideas on how to get this hidden treasure?

Re: the Game Titanium :O

So i can play the game with just the Ruins of Kunark & Scars of Velious expansion packs? Just need to patch it up?

Re: the Game Titanium :O

If you install the trilogy and go to advanced it will give you the option to patch every expansion, even the ones you didn't buy CDs for. If you check Planes of Power, it will see you don't have any of the files and copy them all from the sony servers.

As per the start guide, patch up to Lost Dungeons of Norrath.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Sweet jesus! ^^ *hugs* man your a life saver. Ima go try it right now.

(edit)
;-; i just realized the CDs i have are way old and dont have the selection listed in the Fresh install guide :O

Re: the Game Titanium :O

What selection?

If you do a patch of just the trilogy, it will patch the patcher first, and that should give you all the options you need.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

nope, its a very old version of the trilogy, it has like a tacky script looking patcher. It has no advanced options or any options o_O. Better yet, Wal-Mart doesnt have them in stock. So i ordered it and it will be here by tuesday (i hope its this day) or next next week on thursday :dumb: :(

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Even in germany the game is sold in 4 different versions in like almost any mall.

Besides that, I used trilogy, luclin, pop and just patched from there on. Worked fine.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Yah i know, Its like they "banned" the titanium like "its the devil!" :what: . Well i dont know, i got my trilogy atleast 5+ years ago. And it IS old. So i cant choose advanced options to properly patch. Im stuck waiting.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Let it connect to the patcher with out changing the advance setting.

Wait till it finished, a new patcher will come out.. and then you can change the setting there..

My version work like this, not sure about others.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

it says its having trouble shooting problems, it wont even patch

Ahh well im stuck waiting anyways

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Well, last I have looked (couple of monthes ago, when I stated), The Company (tm) was selling "download" releases of Titanium. Basically, you pay 20 bucks and download The Game. Must be a pretty long download though. :monocle:

Re: the Game Titanium :O

im not going to bother with it :p. I already ordered the Titanium Pack anyways, i will probably die waiting 2 weeks tho.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

There is something with the old, original CD's that won't let them patch to Live, can't connect. I recently moved, and couldn't find my titanium pack to reinstall after a format, so I used my original EQ disc, from '99.

Didn't work :( so, tried adding kunark, then velious, but still no connection to the live patcher. Luckily, I finally stumbled across my Titanium and from there it was a breeze.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Well, with Game+Kurark+Velious+Luclin+PoP, it patches without any trouble.

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Hey HEY!!! i got it *  *

Since my patcher was VERY OLD ... like 1998. I had to search on Everquest forums and found a "everquest patcher" to replace my old one. Now i can play!! But i have to wait 3hours (and climbing?!?) until its finished and ill finally meet with you all ^^

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Hey all, this is kinda related...

I'm using EQ: Evolution. It has:
# EverQuest Classic game
# EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark Expansion Pack
# EverQuest: The Scars of Velious Expansion Pack
# EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin Expansion Pack
# EverQuest: The Planes of Power Expansion Pack
# EverQuest: The Legacy of Ykesha Extension

But it doesn't have LDoN, and on the SoD website it says to let it patch to LDoN...

So am I missing any content or anything by not having LDoN installed? From what was said above, you only need the trilogy and the rest can patch up to SoD full just by using "Patch All" right? So I'm not missing out on anything?

I tried finding another copy of Evolution pack to send to a friend who just got internet again. But I went in 4 stores, and the only EQ they had was EQ 2. In EB Games the girl looked it up and said the manufacturer stopped making all those packs, so they couldn't get them and you'd have to find something someone still happened to have in stock b/c they aren't shipping out anymore.

I guess walmart warehouses must still have a bunch just because they probably bought so many to start with, heh.

But I'm thinking of sending him my EQ: Evolution so he can play. If I do that, can I still use SoD fine if I just have my original disks (EQ and the first 2 expansions) or should I order another titanium pack or whatever?

Thanks!

Re: the Game Titanium :O

Well ill tell you what ive learned on what will not confuse you lol.

The patching doesnt require that "expansion disk" in order to patch to that area. Meaning even tho u lack LDoN, you can still patch to there. If you have a newer version of the game, proceed as what the installation guide would say, if you have a older copy. Do what i did as explained in previous posts.

The install guide will guide you to the right stuff

Edit: Go to the patcher, And wait until the cancel button lights up. Then press it and go to "advanced" and click all the patches all the way up to LDoN

Re: the Game Titanium :O

You can play this without owning any retail expansions. Just put the exe file in an empty folder and it patches itself to the same files that people on live are using. To save space you can use advanced to only patch up to LDON since I don't think this game uses anything GoD+
