How am I doing so far. This is my first char so I don't have the advantage of having a 65 to run around with : /

I've gotten pretty lucky with drops and good fortune. Someone just gave me my new gloves and earing that are by far my best 2 items. I'm currently camping for a Warden's Bow, which will give my ranged slot a little extra stats. I'd love to hear some suggestions on what to work for next. I have a couple Greyscale patterns and a set of links so I'm going to plan on getting some of those pieces next.

Pick up a bow and work on your archery here and there. Or else you will regret losing 2-3 hours later on it, it's NOT fun.

lol don't worry I got a darkwood bow, I just ran out of arrows atm and haven't gotten around to buying more. My archerys at 85 or something :p

Like i said... yes you can in '' no time ''. But you can even faster if you just shoot here and there when pulling mobs.

I'm not sure when rangers get animal fear spells but:

when you do: make sure you spend a little time fear kiting some animals with different weapon types. It won't be the fastest exp, but so long as you keep fear applied it will be a safer way to level the skills up.
You never know when some very nice weapon will land in your lap and your skill is 0.
