If summoned items and illusions can't be seperated, code wise, then this change needs to be reversed. Making your day more pleasant is not worth the pain in the ass to every mage on the server.

No, Zaos was right, you're pretty much just whining. It wasn't changed because your heart just aches every time you get gnomed, it was changed because it was bugged, someone made a thread about it, and it made sense to fix. While you did indeed make this thread for laughable reasons (you didn't know about /cm blockbuffs and you've been around how long?), the fact that you keep getting gnomed by the big bag ruin enchanter mafia has nothing else to do with the item being changed.
 
Who said i didn't know about /cmd blockbuffs?. Before you flame me read my thread, no where in the entire thread did I post that I wasn't aware of /cmd blockbuffs. I posted the request because people were abusing the spell in a way it wasn't intended to be used..
 
I could be standing in RV or SK doing absolutely nothing and a ruin ench would do it because it pisses me off when a) i lose sb illusion on podge or b) have to repeadetly keep clicking off gnome on zhak. It's pretty funny how Ruin makes it sounds like they're the victims in this matter.

The real victims are the people who used the item responsibly. Like a lot of changes on SoD recently (FD healing, loot out of raid, etc) this has been brought about to stop the few abusers, at the expense of the people who acted responsibly - maybe unnecessarily, considering the blockbuffs command.

Actually the real victims are the people that have to click on a suggestion thread thinking there may be some good ideas/info in it and have to sift through the crap insults within. Let's take this to private forums(irc PM's, tells ingame, email, whatever).
