error opening packed file system

I searched and searched and there are no answers that help to this problem so dont flame me for "not searching"

a box pops saying error opening packed file system after i try running SoD patcher, i read and did the how to install on sticky twice and it still pops up

i cant patch to live because i dont have an active account on EQ

I just had this same issue and created a post about it. I guess I should have perused the forums more closely and I will erase my post about it. If this problem was solved, could someone tell me what the issue was?

Oops, replied to yours first. It's a corrupt file on install. Reinstall The Game.

My issue was that I had not installed all of the games. I forgot that evolution did not have LDoN.
