Error opening file system

When I run eqw and send it to eqgame.exe a blank screen pops up, and after a few seconds a error message comes up that says "error opening file stystem".

When I downloaded the patcher off the site it only has one file. The Patcher itself. No executable with it like is shown from your installation guide.
I have installed .net like said. Still get the same error. I never make it to a log in screen or anything.

I used all of my disk from when I used to play.
Starts with:
********* Evolution. First game thru exspansions Legacy of Ykesha.
Then next five exspansions up to Depths of Dark Hollow.

I'm stuck. I have read all the forums and searched. I can not seem to find the answer.

You didnt search very hard.

Your install is bad or corrupt.

Reinstall.

Also: the patcher is only one file. It was recoded to be upgradeable.
 
I have reinstalled. I even deleted all of the patch files out of my directory and re-ran the patcher. Still the same problem. My brothers computer has the exact same error.
 
Ok, so from the looks of things. I need to buy Titanium edition to play? Could I pay for my account and patch it up or is that not an options?
 
I think he meant pay them, and if so, we were able to do that before they converted to requiring an account to patch. If it's still set up the same way, where you can choose what expansions to patch, then yes, you could pay them and patch the expansions you need. Note the big IF, since I haven't tried since they switched.
 
I'd recommend just buying a copy of titanium. Probably end up as cheap as paying for a month just to patch, and you'll have the full install cds.
