would be nice if u could help me
ok i got all files downed..than i run eqgame.exe-written please run everquest.exe.
well i try eqw - it patches and after that it wants to start the game BUT
error message:
Error string not found (303)
what can i do so?
plz help me

Try repatching live then trying again. Some files may have been missed.

i did.many times...the patcher wont find any missing files and contiunes till i get the error msg

Searching the forums it seems there was some others that had this problem. I'm not sure how they fixed it, but maybe someone would know on IRC. I'll tell you this though to try going to control panel and repair instead of reinstall and see if things work then.

A friend of mine had the same problem. We got it working. Open up your Sony folder. If there is more than 1 folder there then compress them to just one by taking the files from the one you are getting rid of and putting into the one you are going to keep.
