eqw problems

My problem is that I cannot use eqw at all at the moment. Its fine until I choose to enter the server then the screen goes pale white kinda and I can hear the music but have no video. I use escape and it escapes me out of character select(which I cannot see) and takes me back to server select.
I was having dual core issues and after browsing the forums and finding the article describing how to use imgcfg to set processor affinity. Before really understanding what I was doing I also set affinity for eqw and eqwfix files. Ive since run the tool correctly and set both the eq executable,the eqw,and eqfix executables to the same affinity on both processors but nothing seems to help.
Would reinstalling the game fix the issue? Is there a way with the tool to bring executables back to their defaults? Any help here would be most appreciated.
 
Are you sure it's EQW? Try clicking the ADVANCED button on the SoD patcher and unchecking "Use EQW" and see if that solves the problem.
 
I can play in full screen w/ no issues at all. However this essentially takes my 2nd and 3rd monitors away from me. I would like to be able to play in windowed mode to box and still have another screen useful. eqw problems did not start until I messed w/ setting processor affinity before fully understanding what I was doing. Havent been able to play windowed since then.
