eqw.dll problems

I get this problem after i run the patcher and i tried to get into the game, does anyone know the workaround for this problem? please help if you are able to.

I've recently ran into this problem. I looked everywhere and nobody gave any real solutions. The fix for me was quite simple.

The following is what fixed it for me. Hopefully it fixes the problem for someone else as well.


1. Right click on "my computer" and click "properties"

2. Click on the advanced tab

3. Under "performance" click on "settings"

4. Click the "data execution prevention" tab

5. Select the top option. Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only

6. Restart

Yea, that is the reply everyone gives. Solving the real issue allows me to use my second monitor for a boxed character.
