I realize that I'm only level 8, but could someone point me in the right direction as to where I should go to get up grades? :) Profile's in the sig. Perhaps I'm on the right track and I should just work on bind wound ;).

THANKS!

you can find leather armor pieces off kobolds in warrens, or simply buy them in erudin/thurg depending where you are from...
Try to camp the kobold king in warrens, he has some monk gear for low lvl. That's all you'll get before lvl 20-25.

After, you can get the ancient armors patterns off mobs everywhere in the world, get also the leather straps, then go to wyvernfang coast to speak with the othmir craftmaster, he'll make you armors. Those armors are Ok, but its nothing incredible...

Then, save money to buy wyvern armors...

.

Also Karm if I remember right your an Iksar so you might want to start working on Erudin faction. There are only 3 cities where you can buy most supplies: Thurgadin, Erudin, and Frog City. Might want to hunt in Warrens and try and get to dubious, then you can hand in kobold paws in such. Erudin is a nice location if you ever plan on hunting in First Ruins.

For equipment, they pretty much covered it armor-wise. I used Warclub of the Clan for a while, should be around 5-10pp, not sure where it drops. It is 8/24 proc: 15dd if I remember right. After that, you can get Corroded Darkmetal Ulak from Neth if you are of level or have enough money, or the Fungus Claw from Echo Caverns. Both mobs that drop are around level 28.

Try and get H2H weapons because you can buy a Charm of the Brute for 60pp that gives a hefty +15% modifier to H2H, making it your weapon of choice.

Out of curiosity, what are some easy ways for one from Erudin to gain faction in Thurgadin? All my in-game experience is from the good starting point.

spiked warclub of the clan drops off a named rat in FR.

raising thurg faction is much tougher than raising good faction. only way that i know of is Tizmaks and wyrms in GD. but those are higher lvl.

Like limitedthoughts said, those dwarf heads are very good for faction work. My high elf enchanter turned in maybe 10-15 heads and went from threatening to dubious. To get in to the city I used Illusion:Human(This can be cast on others btw). It seems that humans start out indifferent in Thurg which seems odd, but maybe it's one of their racial benefits?

I think the head quest raises everything but the dwarf priest faction, so make sure you don't go near em :)

Oh and does anyone know of a way to increase faction with the druid's in mistwood? Those wandering treants hit hard! I remeber someone saying that the ranger's bow quest helped it, but was wondering if there were any other ways.
