EQEMu Error: Bad username/password

I cannot log in and I don't know why. I registered for the game today.
a) I am at the Login screen of the Game.
b) The last action before the issue happened was me installing the Game and the patcher and running the patcher.
c) I am running a fresh install of Windows XP SP2.
d) The exact(!) error message is "EQEMu Error: Bad username/password".
e) It is a consistent bug, I am not able to get around it, and I am able to reproduce it at will.
f) I have already tried changing the eqhost.txt file. It currently has:

[Registration Servers] 
{ 
"67.205.76.13" 
} 
[Login Servers] 
{ 
"67.205.76.13:5997"
}

**EDIT: I just tried to forward port 5997 through my router. Same Result.**

**EDIT: I just tried to change my password through the forum options. Same Result and changed it back.**

g) I am using my home router and no firewall, and I have done nothing to set it up for SoD because I don't know what I should do.

Changing your forum password will not do anything to your in-game account.

I tried the link but it said "The Account you entered is not a registered account. Please specify a registered account."

**EDIT: sorry I signed up the other day but I never wrote it down and I forgot it. How do I get a new/reset the Game username and Game password?**

actually I believe that I never actually sighed up for the game account it was not in the "Starting Guide". so I didnt do it I did it now and I will let you know if it works. Thank you everyone for your patience in my ineptitude.

***EDIT: I've been on now couple of times it works great not counting the ui but thats for another thread if I cant find its like on the forums first.***
