EQClassic PVP 1999 Red

Very good server but its as to be expected. Its same old EQ it is and was a great game but its not for me any more. Coprse runs and all that I just don't have the time any more. I'm not 16 , I'm 28 with a family and a job. P1999 is great for nastalgia thats about it really.

Shards is a far superior server in both content and entertainment.

Ya, its closest server ever. The exp rate is just like original, so all gear is meaningful again, and theres pvp in every zone, esp dungeons.
 
/shrug -- I just couldn't get into p99... they'd probably ban me on sight if they knew who I was, anyway.
 
What I find the funniest about P99, at least when it was launched and in the following four or five months that I played, at least half of the server staff on P99 had been banned from SoD for MQ use and other exploits.

And these people did questionable things to maintain LGuk/SolB camps. But since they were staff, any discussion of said questionable things resulted in a ban. Really cool server.

My Fave part about p99 was making about 50k plat in a few weeks before my highest toon was 15. I ran all the short sales that Bob wasn't messing with I also exchanged sales info with him on who needed what items. I ran spread sheets with prices lists of named even had people farming items I had a demand for.

I think my ogre warrior had an FBSS lots of other random armor probably came to around 65k worth before I stoped playing at level 35 or something.
