Eq keeps crashing.

Every time i try to log in it says Everquest has encountered a problem. I have repatched EQ and Sod both twice. No luck. If anyone has encountered this problem before and has some insight pst.

I'm crashing too.  I had just changed the passwords on all of my accounts and thought it was related to that... maybe it is something else.

I can log in and get to server select screen.  But when I try to go to the char select screen, the game crashes.

This happens to me more frequently than I like. I just relaunch and try again. I usually make it in by the 3rd try. It happens FAR more often when I am loading a 2nd char.

I find that a second client is much more likely to crash if you

1) have other programs open using a lot of bandwidth like a bittorrent client or a voice chat client
2) or if after you hit enter to join the server at the server select screen if you alt tab out or switch the "attention" to any other process it seems much more likely for that client to crash
