EQ just stopped working.

When Wiz rebooted the server, to fix something in Kedge, something happened making it impossible for me to log on!

I get eqgame.exe has occured a problem and needs to close. (Or something like that) Every time i try to enter the server and select a character.

Any idea how this could be fixed?
 
Far stretch, but try renaming/deleting every file in your EQ folder that has your characters name it in, something may have corrupted the configs.

And if you get really desperate, try removing all the EQ config files and rerun the game to get a fresh start again.
 
Look in your Everquest folder for a dbg.txt file. It will give you the error that is causing you to crash. That will help tell what the problem is anyhow.
 
I fixed it!

I got it fixed.
Went into control panel and went to add/remove program.
Selected EQ but instead of uninstalling i used the repair option.
Didnt even haveto patch to live after either.

Hooray! :D
