EQ client crashes when zoning into Athica.

Here is a weird problem.

My main account has 3 characters. 1 of these characters (Hasc) crashes the EQ client and shuts down the EQ game when zoning into Athica from Gfay. When I try to relog him I get to the character selection screen and hit enter, but the EQ client crashes upon loading the zone. The other characters on that account come and go from Athica just fine.

GMs tried restarting my character in Athica and my EQ client shuts down. GMs can place the character back in Gfay or some other zone and I have no problems with the game.

GMs/DEVs online think I need to patch. I have patched, replatch, manually patch, reinstalled EQ and patched again. I tried zoning in after the lates repatch and the game crashed again, so I petitioned again but nobody responded to my petition.

This problem started about 5 days ago. Before that everything was working fine.

The last GM asked me to give a detailed explanation of what the problem is, but I have absolutely no idea why this would be or where to begin trouble shooting.

Update 1: I reinstalled my old Gold Box game, repatched, etc. Updating the modules and repatching from the newes 'live' patch just made things worse.

Update 2: I scrounged up Titanium disks for a complete new install and now everything works better than before.

Saved my old character UI files and was able to retain all my character UI setups. Very Cool.
