Entry point not found

I was thrilled by the idea of free eq, where the server isnt populated by many "uber guilds" fighting over power along with the idea of unique content, so of course I lunged at the opportunity like a rabid dog.
That being said, I encountered the_grey_Chr.txt problem and bypassed that by directly downloading the patch info. I am now presented with a new problem immediately after i click the run button.

Eqgame.exe - Entry point not found

The procedure entrypoint_AIL_open_XMIDI_driver@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll

HELP!

Not trying to dig here, but could you be a little more specific as to where exactly im supposed to install the WR patcher and put the DL files?
 
so copy all the files in the WRfiles folder into the EQ directory and then click run the patcher? already tried that once. got the same error. =/

extract them directly into your eq folder.
Pathcer, eqfix, etc.
 
well after reinstalling eq,, 2 hours of patching, a few pulled hairs, and choice words later, i managed to get to the Character creation screen. i distributed my points into my bard, clicked next, and went straight into a hard lock that resulted in the rebooting of my computer.. but i'm making progress.

Install teh WR fix AFTER live update.
