Entropy Faction

Was just wondering if anyone else who chose to go the evil route during the MQ found it impossible to raise the faction with Entropy in the sewers to a point where you could do any of the quests for Grindun.

I chose to do the Evil route on my cleric and after doing so, I can't purchase spells in Athica, can't purchase spells in NP sewers, dubious in both places.

Spoke with the cleric guildmaster there in the sewers and have done all of her quests all the way to the war mead, when asking for more lessons, she doesn't reply anymore.

Not sure if I need to go do the shroud of the dark priest quest or ??? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Cyen

Can non-necro's get his quests period? My cleric has done the shroud, all of Cult Priest Vanissa's quests that are available. Even did the one in SBL. Without logging in to check I think I'm at kindly or warmly faction with Entrophy at this point. As far as I've seen that's all we can do to this point until they finish Vaniaa's quest line. I've been hoping this also lead to a sewers gate neck as Grindun doesn't seem to want to chat with clerics.

Edit: checked faction, I'm warmly with bene clicky.

Well, the shroud of the cult priest choice does change your faction to cult of entropy. so i imagine there is a large faction adjust component. The petitioner stages have chaotic choices and if i remember evil, not just the ones on the wiki.

Yep Vell, just about done with Shroud now to switch it over. Wish Taracoth would mention some of this while moving in this direction but oh well.

All good, hope to have at least the faction issue resolved later today. See what happens with being able to get a gate neck.

Maybe Cyzaine can verify that classes other than necro can in fact get a gate neck to the sewers? Don't see why someone who is going to be aligned with Entropy can't get a gate neck at some point.

Thanks for the help all guys

OH, and btw Vell, 3 very nice Chaotic hits in the shroud line. All 3 of the petitioner parts can flag a Chaotic hit. Seems almost odd that a Cleric can be Gradalsh aligned so much easier than a Necro....

I believe getting the gate neck is a prerequisite for getting the faction aug quest line. I think you have to speak with a grudsh the crucible after pledging to get the gate neck quest line.

Pledging is not a prereq for the gate neck line. I have this line of quest on my necro that is unsworn and started quest line at amiable or indiff faction.

It is if your not a necro. If your sewer faction in shot, gurdsh gives gradalsh pledgees a big hit, if you really trashed it you have to go slaughter paladins.

As for the op, try buying them in newports temple or underhill.

Any Gradalsh worshiper can do the sewer gate neck quest. Necros can just do it without having to be Gradalsh aligned.

The priestess also has alignment quests for everyone, the 'Lessons in Entropy I' line.

In addition you get Chaotic Evil faction hits for doing the Gradalsh Deity quest.
