To save some of you some time, I have not yet started to play on Winter's Roar yet and have only been reading the forums.
Still here?
The suggestion is to change how equipment will strengthen a pet. The general idea is to keep it as a floating set of weapons when it is first summoned, but added equipment also shows when it is given to the pet. It becomes a sort of buildable set of enchanted armor. Pieces added to it can also add to its abilities in greater ways than other pets, such as a chestplate adding mitigation. Maybe a waist item adding damage so it does not all add merely mitigation. I don't know how this could be tied to the quality of the equipment so I won't try explaining it.
It might be unecessiary for this to be implemented for all spell levels so maybe for a relic pet?
