Enchanter Charmed Pets and Haste

Overall, although I'm not sure whether item haste works for NPCs at all.

As for the other thing, I guess I'll leave it for you to figure out whether or not 58 is 60 or higher.

Reason for my inquiry is that instead of me casting GoE on a mob.. would rather cast a low lvl haste on the pet equivalent to the cap so my face doesn't get rapped when it breaks. And it's not certain that haste items work on mobs either? so it's not a deffinate no then?

Based on anecdotal parsing in emberflow (parses not to be published here), and using that emberflow pet haste item, pet dps was not increased when it had the haste item. Pet item haste doesn't appear to work.

Confirming this with bauble of battle as well.

Also, for longer charms, one can always just click cape of control. Should take everything off since it's like 12 cancel magics in there or some shit.

Every few months someone brings up that Pet Item hast doesn't work :(

I recall twice now someone thought they fixed it but turns out it still didn't work.

I kinda wonder if prehaps whats happening is that pets only gain haste from thier haste slot, but with things like the ear/ring summoned haste item its always going to the Ring/Ear slot so the pet never gets the haste item.

Might be intersting to try giving a pet 2 earrings, and 2 rings (crappy things like bloodstone rings/ears) and then give it a haste item (summoned bauble) to see if it gains the haste finaly *shrug*
