Elael's Tears - Changes again?

all i did was adjust the level on mobs i neither added nor removed summoning from these mobs ever. i will consider your points anyway!!!

Mobs summon after a certain level regardless of settings unless explicitly told not too. So just raising the level is more than enough to add new behavior. I'll remain neutral on the need for them to do that or not, but it's probably a bit overkill considering the rest of the zone.

I also think removing summoning from the zone (at least most mobs) would make this place a lot more used and fun to explore/exp.

As an INT caster its always been frustrating that i basically need a group to handle anything that summons, whereas a meele or healer can box to kill summoning mobs, its cool to have the occasional outdoor zone where we can quest/exp/explore without having to bring a group along.

I would also like to point out that the ghan hunters dispell almost immediately, and alot. So this alone already discourages most people from killen orcs, not to mention gets travelers killed when it dispells their SoE. These two factions just aren't very balanced at all, orcs are incredibly tough and rediculously annoying.

im pretty sure the lore behind orcs is that they are incredibly tough and ridiculously annoying.

Just going to guess that the game is wanting people to get faction with orcs, since there is a bunch of lore about them as you quest and almost none about goblins other then orcs wanting you to help kill them. Perhaps making the orcs less desirable to kill is a way for people to take note of this before they run into said lore/quests.

During original zone design the Orcs in Tur`ruj and outside of it had the same faction. People who could raid at that level would thus automatically be goblin sided. The idea was that non-raiders, or those who had little chance of seeing the raid zone in the near future could beat the easier goblins, and get rewards that way. Those who raided, would kill the Orcs and since they were probably better geared anyway, could deal with the stronger mobs.

Of course that all went out the window midway through development due to how the plot ended up going, and I don't think either side even has rewards at this point.
