Was talking with a group of RL friends most of whom play SOD. We came to the topic of warriors namely the large size warriors and hatched a really fun idea. When a mob is killed and the mob is size medium to small the ogre,troll, and barbarian warriors being large and powerful class with str as prime stat could pick up the corpse and use it as a weapon. This would require only that the mob can be equiped as a standard blunt weapon by the warrior and it still vanishes as do all mobs that die within the 4 min limit.
All the templates already exist and no special graphic is needed to use it as a weapon just the war using the dead mob template as a weapon. Not sure how looting said mob would occur since thats more of a programming issue but would assume loot mob fast then get clicky pop up that says to the troll,ogre, and barb warriors only do you wish to equip this as a weapon? Clicking yes automatically places the dead corpse in your open weapon slot to be used for 4 min as a weapon. Could randomly include the chance to stun mob on successful hit after all you are hitting them with the body of a fallen comrade.
Could also equip small size races as ammo and throw them at a mob with chance to stun and do higher dmg than normal thrown weapon. No additional graphics required just corpse appearing in warriors hand and once thrown vanishes and either hit or misses target. Perhaps a special sound file that gives a gruff voice both male or female depending on the gender chosen that exclaims a message on throwing the corpse.
This would be fun as a non warrior just to watch and see maybe a troll or ogre newby bashing frogloks with the body of another froglok. We could also see a rise of warriors being played far more often just for shear entertainment value and give SOD something totally unqiue in the RPG gaming world.
