Dwaves and Mining

I started mining with Deidden, Lvl 65 Dwarven Cleric, and got:

[Sat Apr 01 10:20:50 2006] You have become better at Mining! (2)

Were existing dwarves not updated?

No, we can't really fix this in an easy way unfortunately.

So you are saying they were not updated? Or they were updated and it just doesn't change your mining skill in game on those particular messages?

he said they were not updated .. and he also said that they cannot fix it in an easy way...unfortunately
